汉语“定否中”结构的语义生成机制探究

摘　　要：汉语中存在"不是X1的X2"一类定语否定中心语的"定否中"结构。研究发现,该结构的语义生成要经过三个子过程:(1)认知主体产生需要表达的意向性并赋予给规约的象征单位X1;(2)心物随附性对意向性及X1各种属性进行调节;(3)旧的语音单位与新的语义单位象征联结,产生新的象征单位X2。该结构具有强烈的临时性和主观性特征,是认知主体主观异化的结果。"Bushi(不是)X1 de(的)X2"is a head-negating modifier construction in Chinese.The paper analyzes the semantic relations between the 2 X’s in the construction and explores its sense generation mechanism from the cognition perspective.A model is proposed to represent the sense generation mechanism,which is found to be comprised of 3 sub-processes:(1)the emergence of intentionality of the subject and the projection of this intentionality to X1;(2)the formation of a new semantic unit through the adjustment and merging of the intentionality and semantic features of X1 by supervenience;and(3)the symbolic association of the new semantic unit with the old phonetic unit of X1.It is found that the construction is highly provisional and subjective and is the result of the subjective alienation by the subject.
