Objective To investigate the effect of nursing care on the incidence of iatrogenic skin lesions in neonates. Methods A total of 866 neonates were enrolled in our hospital from June 2018 to December 2018. They were randomly divided into the control group(n = 433) and the nursing group(n = 433). Compare the incidence of iatrogenic skin lesions in neonates after nursing. Results The iatrogenic skin lesions in the experimental group included 18 cases of adhesive injury, 16 cases of scratch/cut/scratch/crush injury, and 3 cases of drug leakage. The total incidence was 8.55%(37/433). Group of iatrogenic skin lesions included 61 cases of stick injury, 55 cases of scratch/cut/scratch/crush injury, 6 cases of drug leakage, and 6 cases of infectious injury. The total incidence was 29.56%(128/433). The incidence of iatrogenic skin injury in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, P < 0.05. Conclusion The use of nursing programs in the process of neonatal care can effectively reduce the incidence of neonatal iatrogenic skin injury.
