摘 要:为了解决传统脉冲体制超宽带(ultra wideband,UWB)探地雷达难以同时兼顾分辨率和探测深度的问题,构建了基于高速格雷互补码的探地雷达系统。该系统使用一对高速互补格雷码作为探测信号,通过叠加其相关运算结果,可以完全消除旁瓣,且使其峰值增大为原来的2倍。将此信号应用于地下管线探测,仿真和实验结果显示,基于高速格雷互补码的UWB探地雷达能有效探测地下金属和非金属管线。进一步,将探测结果与基于混沌脉冲位置调制信号的管线探测结果相比,在同等条件下,前者能显著提高系统的信杂比(signal-to-clutter ratio,SCR),进而可在满足高分辨率的前提下显著提高探测深度,从而证明了所提出方法的可行性与优越性。Traditional ultra wideband(UWB)impulse radar has to balance the resolution and detection distance.In order to solve this problem,a ground penetrating radar system based on the high-speed Golay complementary code is proposed.A pair of the Golay complementary code is used as the probe signal.By adding the two correlation operation results together,the side lobes of the correlation can be completely eliminated and its peak value is increased by 2 times.The Golay complementary code is applied to underground pipe location.The simulation and experimental results show that the UWB ground penetrating radar based on the high-speed Golay complementary code can effectively locate underground metal or non-metal pipe.Furthermore,compared with the chaotic pulse position modulation signals,under the same experimental conditions,the former can significantly improve the signal-to-clutter ratio(SCR).Thus,it can improve the detection depth while the resolution is still high.Thus,it demonstrates the feasibility and superiority of the proposed method.
