摘　　要：‘开美一号’是以‘开封327’为母本‘、开封126’为父本杂交育成的花皮圆形西瓜新品种。春季露地栽培全生育期98 d左右,果实发育期28d^29 d,为早熟品种;该品种植株分枝力中等,综合抗性强,坐果性好,平均单瓜质量5.0 kg;果实圆球形,绿色果皮上覆墨绿色条带,瓜瓤大红色,口感酥脆,中心可溶性固形物含量(w,后同)12.5%,品质佳。产量高,667 m^2产量3 800 kg以上,适合简约化栽培,在河南省及周边省市保护地和露地均可种植。2017年通过国家非主要农作物品种登记。‘Kaimei No. 1’is an early maturing watermelon cultivar developed by crossing female parent‘ Kaifeng327 ’as female parent and‘ Kaifeng 126 ’as male parent. The fruit matures 98 days from sowing and 28-29 days from flowering under open field condition in spring. It has medium branches ability, good fruit setting rate and strong comprehensive disease resistance. the round-shaped fruit is of good quality with green pericarp regularly ornamented by dark-green strips,crispy,sweet and red flesh,12.5% center soluble solids content. The average fruit weight is 5.0 kg,average yield can reach above 3 800 kg per 667 m^2. It ’s suitable for protected and open field cultivation in Henan and the surrounding provinces.
