Objective To explore the relationship between BMI and risk of cervical cancer. Methods Using systematic review methods to search the literature on the relationship between BMI and cervical cancer in EMbase, the Cochrane Library,PubMed, CNKI, WanFang Data, and VIP database. The retrieval time was from database construction to May 2019. In the whole process, two researchers independently screened the literature, extracted the data and evaluated the bias risk of inclusion in the study. Meta-analysis was carried out by Stata12.0 software. Results A total of 15 studies were included with1 178 773 subjects. Meta-analysis showed that the risk of cervical cancer in overweight people was 1.10 times that of normal weight [OR=1.10, 95% CI:(1.04-1.16),P=0.001], and the risk of cervical cancer in obese people was 1.34 times [OR=1.34, 95% CI:(1.16-1.55), P <0.001], the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Both overweight and obesity increased the risk of cervical cancer. The correlation between overweight and cervical cancer risk was weak, but there was a significant correlation between obesity and cervical cancer risk.
