中美贸易战新闻标题的及物性分析——基于自建《海峡时报》微型语料库的研究

摘　　要：本研究基于自建《海峡时报》“中美贸易战”新闻语料库,通过对新闻标题的及物性进行分析,探究新加坡在对中美贸易战进行报道时,是如何避开政治敏感并表明自己反对“中美贸易战”的态度。研究发现:中美贸易战新闻标题的物质过程出现频率最高,说明新闻的报道以再现事件过程为主;其次是言语过程,表明新闻的报道善于运用多途径言语源增强报道的权威性和客观性;再次是关系过程和心理过程,展现了新闻报道内容的细致性和态度的隐晦性;及物性分析显示,新加坡主要通过对事件的客观陈述和以态度表态度的方式来回避政治敏感及表明反对立场。Based on the self-built news corpus of the Straits Times and through the transitivity analysis of the news headlines concerning about China-US trade war,this paper intends to explore how Singapore expresses its attitude in related reports.The study finds that the material process of the news headlines of the China-US trade war appears the most frequently,which shows that the news reports are focused on reproducing the event.And the second is the verbal process,which means that the news reports are good at using multi-channel speech sources to enhance the authority and objectivity of the report.Then come the relationship process and mental process,indicating the details of the issue and the subtlety of Singapore’s attitude.Through the transitivity analysis,a conclusion may be safely drawn that Singapore expresses its opposition attitude mainly through objective statements of events and citing others’.
