论伍尔夫《幕间》中的空间叙事

摘　　要：《幕间》是英国现代主义女作家伍尔夫的绝笔之作。小说将传统线性结构和意识流技巧结合起来,在时间之流中进行了各种空间建构,具备明显的空间叙事特征;其中建构的物质、精神、社会三种空间分别塑造了人物形象、揭示了人物的内在真实、呈现了小说的内在题旨和作者的写作意图。对《幕间》空间叙事的分析既能全面把握小说结构,又能突显伍尔夫在艺术上不断革新的勇气,强调她为唤醒人们社会责任感所做出的最后努力。Between the Acts is the last work of Virginia Woolf, the British modernist female writer. It combines the traditional linear structure and technique of stream of consciousness, constructing various kinds of space in the flow of time, which endows the novel with the characteristics of spatial narrative. The constructions of material, spiritual and social space shape the images of characters, reveal their inner truth and present the theme of the novel as well as the author’s intention. The analysis of spatial narrative in Between the Acts not only grasps the structure of the novel in a comprehensive way, but also highlights Woolf’s courage of continuous innovation in art and her final efforts on arousing people’s sense of social responsibility.
