摘　　要：术语“骨质疏松”一词由欧洲病理学家Pommer最先提出,即一种由于骨质减少所致骨骼充满孔隙的疾病。目前认为骨质疏松症(osteoporosis,OP)的特征是骨量减少或(和)骨组织退化,导致骨强度下降且脆性增加,是全身性代谢性骨疾病,易诱发骨折。因此,在OP的发生发展过程中,骨代谢扮演着举足轻重的作用。近年来,研究发现骨代谢过程与成骨细胞(osteoblast,OB)和破骨细胞(osteoclast,OC)之间的动态平衡有着密不可分的联系,而信号通路在OB与OC的动态平衡过程中发挥着重要的调控作用。OP因其起病隐匿而难以察觉,故又有沉默的“隐形杀手”之称。加之我国逐渐步入老龄化社会,OP的发生与发展问题进一步突出,成为全国关注的健康问题。这对中老年人意味着生存质量的下降,对国家意味着医疗压力的增大。因此如何有效地防治OP,对个人及社会而言,都具有极大的研究价值。The term“Osteoporosis”was first proposed by European pathologist Pommer,a disease of bone filled with pores caused by bone reduction.It is currently believed that osteoporosis(OP)is a systemic metabolic skeletal disease characterized by decreased bone mass or(and)microstructure degradation of bone tissue,Resultsing in decreased bone strength,increased brittleness,and prone to fractures.Therefore,bone metabolism plays an important role in the occurrence and development of OP.In recent years,it has been found that the process of bone metabolism is closely related to the dynamic balance between osteoblasts(OB)and osteoclasts(OC),and the signaling pathways play an important regulatory role in the dynamic balance of OB and OC.Because of its hidden occurrence and difficulty to detect,OP is said a silent“invisible killer”.As China gradually enter into an aging society,the occurrence and development of OP is more prominent,becoming a national concern for health issues.Which means a decline in the quality of life for the middle-aged and the elderly,and an increase in medical pressure for the country.Therefore,how to effectively prevent and control OP has great research value to individuals and the society.
