摘　　要：“I discovered that I was a descendantof Paduka Pahala at a very youngage,” recounted An Jing, a 19thgenerationdescendant of the travelerfrom what is now the southernPhilippines. Tradition holds thatPahala’s family remained in Chinaafter his demise.
