摘　　要：方政为明永乐至正统初年知名将领,初袭千户,又以靖难历功升都指挥佥事。永乐间,数从张辅等征安南。安南置交阯司,仍领兵其地,多有征伐。宣德初,明弃安南,政引兵还京师,系狱。寻复起用,备御开平、独石。宣德八年(1433年)以总兵官镇守松潘,十年(1435年)移镇大同。正统三年(1438年),将兵助沐晟讨麓川思任发,孤军深入,援绝战殁。赠威远伯,谥忠毅。Fang Zheng is an outstanding general in Ming Dynasty.Between the Yongle and the early of Zhengtong,he firstly succeeded his father as a Qianhu,and then due to the contribution to Jingnan Campaign,he promoted the military officer.During the Yongle,he accompanied Zhang Fu etc.to pacify An-nan and established Jiaozhi,after that he remained in Jiaozhi to command the army and direct the battles.In the years of Xuande,because the Ming government abandoned An-nan,Fang Zheng led the army to return to the capital,and imprisoned later.But shortly after the captivity,he has also been enabled in Kaiping and Dushi.In the 8th year of Xuande(1433),as the chief general,Fang Zheng guard Songpan.In the 10th year(1435),he was appointed by the central government to guard Datong.In the 3th year of Zhengtong(1438),he leaded the army to help Mu Chuan against Si Renfa.,but because they were alone in depth,he also was killed in battle.Thanks to the battle achievement,he was awarded the earldom of Weiyuan and obtained the posthumous title of Zhongyi.
