摘　　要：蒙古族谚语是蒙古族文化的浓缩和精华,谚语英译中的语言转换需要解读其生态文化的内涵。通过谚语呈现出的蒙古族自然环境和生产、生活的生态图景,解读谚语反映的生态文化,印证了蒙古族崇尚诚实守信、重视伦理道德、看重荣誉成就、勇于实践等文化内涵,体现出蒙古族的民族智慧和草原生态文化的独特性。Mongolian proverbs are the essence of Mongolian culture.English translation of Mongolian proverbs needs to interpret the connotation of its ecological culture.With presenting the ecological picture of Mongolian natural environment,Mongolian life and work embodied in the proverbs,this paper interpretates the cultural connotation of Mongolian ethnic groups.They advocate honesty and trustworthiness,attach importance to laws,respect teachers and education,value honors and achievements,etc.All of them reflects the uniqueness of Mongolian ethnic wisdom and grassland ecological culture.
