摘  要:基于更灵活地实现ATCA架构中智能平台管理总线(IPMB)的目的,充分体现ATCA架构的开放式、标准化、模块化、可扩展、可重构的设计理念,本文介绍了一种基于FPGA的混合型双IPMB总线实现方法,主要包括硬件单板方框图、IPMB总体框架、系统逻辑方框图、I2C子系统的实现方法等,由于采用了模块化设计理念,可方便地实现不同通道数目的IPMB裁减或扩充。基于此方法研发的ATCA设备已经实现批量化,并已应用于铁路智能化测试系统、千兆无源光网络系统等系统设备的开发中,在批量产品中验证了此方法的灵活性、可靠性、经济性。This paper introduces the implementation method of a hybrid dual Intelligent Platform Management Bus based on FPGA for the purpose that the implementation of IPMB can be flexibly designed in ATCA architecture,and the design concept of open,standardized,modular,scalable and reconfigurable ATCA architecture can be fully embodied.This method mainly includes the block diagram of hardware board,IPMB overall framework,system logic block diagram and I2C subsystem.Because of the modular design concept,it is easy to realize the reduction or expansion of IPMB with different number of I2C channels.The ATCA equipments based on this method have been manufactured and applied in the development of gigabit passive optical network systems and railway intelligent test systems.The flexibility,reliability and economy of this method have been verified in mass products.
