摘 要:为探究如何消除双芯光波导的模间色散,提出了一种纤芯填充高折射率溶液的双空芯光子晶体光纤,并基于全矢量有限元法进行了理论分析,获得了光纤的模式有效折射率、耦合系数、模间色散系数。研究结果表明:当纤芯所填充的溶液折射率为1.40时,光纤的y偏振方向上模间色散在800 nm传输波长处为零,理论上能够完全消除y偏振方向上模间色散导致的脉冲畸变。即,当传输光波长为800 nm时,这种光纤在y偏振方向上可以抑制模间色散,从而可以广泛用于全光开关、超短脉冲传输、光孤子传输等应用场合。In order to eliminate the Inter-Modal Dispersion(IMD)of the twin-core optical wave-guides,this paper proposed a kind of hollow twin-core photonic crystal fiber,whose core was filled with high refractive index solution.The effective refractive index of the even mode and the odd mode,the coupling coefficient and the IMD were acquired by a full vector finite element method.The study showed that when we filled the fiber core with solution of refractive index 1.40,the IMD at y-polarization disappeared at a particular wavelength 800 nm.This implies that the pulse distortion effect due to the IMD at y-polarization can be eradicated in such a twin-core photonic crystal fiber.In other words,there is no IMD at y-polarization during the transparent of this fiber if the wavelength is 800 nm.This fiber will be useful for applications involving all optical switches,ultra-short pulses and optical solitons.
