摘　　要：阿特伍德的作品多着眼于女性,男性鲜为主角,男性中的父亲形象更是极少受到关注。文章试图从阿特伍德代表作《浮现》与《猫眼》入手,分析其作品中科学家父亲这一独特形象,探究父亲对女主人公的人生、爱情及自我认知等方面产生的一系列影响。Margaret Atwood’s works mostly focus on women,while men are rarely the main characters,and the image of fathers in men rarely gets much attention.This paper attempts to look into Atwood’s masterpieces Surfacing and Cat’s Eye,analyzes the unique qualities of the scientist fathers,and explores the impact of father on heroines’life,love experience,and the formation of self-awareness.
