Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of electrocoagulation in treating pathological perforator vein in chronic venous insufficiency of lower limbs, and to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of this method.Methods:125 patients(188 limbs)with primary varicose veins of the lower extremities were included.Percutaneous puncture electrocoagulation was performed on pathologic perforator veins and radiofrequency ablation was performed on main trunk of great saphenous vein.To observe the degree of postoperative recovery of clinical manifestations of lower limbs and the incidence of complications. Results:The venous clinical severity score(VCSS score)decreased significantly one week, three months and six months after the operation(P<0.05),especially in the ulcer healing. There were no complications, such as deep venous thrombosis of the lower extremities. Conclusions:Pathologic perforator venous electrocoagulation is safe and effective in promoting the healing of skin lesions and ulcers caused by chronic venous insufficiency in lower limbs.
