摘　　要：In Tibet,there is a group of women who are famed as being pure and gentle.They keep their distance from the secular world and stay in peaceful nunneries to chant Buddhist scriptures as well as practice their meditations.In Tibet,these females are known by a revered title:jomo.(In Tibetan Buddhism,the name refers to a fullfledged female member of a sangha.)
