纳博科夫小说中的契诃夫叙事经验——以幸福叙事为例

摘　　要：俄裔美籍作家弗拉基米尔·纳博科夫是20世纪杰出的双语作家,其散文创作在19世纪俄罗斯文学传统与20世纪西方艺术实验探索的相互作用的过程中不断成长和成熟。这其中,契诃夫的小说对纳博科夫的创作风格和特点的形成产生了重要影响。纳博科夫在继承和发展契诃夫的叙事经验的同时,又与其进行文学对话,表现出自己的创作个性和审美追求。本文以二者短篇小说中的幸福主题为例,分析纳博科夫在情节发展、主题诠释、人物形象、叙事手法等方面对契诃夫传统的弘扬与创新。Russian-American writer Vladimir Nabokov is an outstanding bilingual writer of the 20 th century.His prose creation grows and matures in the process of the interaction between the 19 th century Russian literary tradition and the 20 th century Western art experiment.Among them,Chekhov’s novels have had an important impact on the formation of Nabokov’s style and characteristics.Nabokov not only have had inherited and developed Chekhov’s narrative experience but also had literary dialogue with him,showing his creative personality and aesthetic pursuit.This article takes the happiness theme in the two short stories as an example to analyze Nabokov’s promotion and innovation of Chekhov’s tradition in terms of plot development,theme interpretation,character image and narrative technique.
