沈祖荣与沙本生往来英文书信三通释证

摘　　要：1947年,沙本生受美国中国基督教大学联合董事会之邀到中国考察教会大学图书馆事业,1948年1月返回美国后出版了《中国教会大学图书馆:1947年至1948年所作的调查报告》,该报告对于研究中国近代图书馆事业价值重大。文章针对该份报告中沙本生与沈祖荣往来三封英文书信进行了翻译及释证,这三封书信对于研究中国近代图书馆学教育史、文华图专历史有着非常重要的参考价值。At 1947,Dr. Charles Bunsen Shaw was invited by United Board for Christian Colleges in China(UBCCC) to survey the libraries of the Christian Colleges of China. In 1948, after finishing the survey Dr. Shaw returned USA and submitted a report titled The Libraries of the Christian Colleges of China: A Report of a Survey Made in 1947-1948 to UBCCC. This report was very important to study modern China’s librarianship. In this article, the author selected three English letters between Charles Bunsen Shaw and Shen Zurong which included in Shaw’s report and translated them into Chinese. These three letters are significant to study the history of Boone Library School, and the history of modern China’s library education history as well.
