摘　　要：莫高窟285窟《五百强盗成佛故事画》利用经典的构图方式,生动的人物形象,将复杂的佛教故事画浓缩在简单的可视化形象中。文章以格式塔心理学中关于视觉简化与艺术简化的原理为切入点,分析艺术简化的本质,并从因缘故事画的目的入手,进而从“部分内部的组合”“部分间的组合”“结构骨架”三个方面剖析艺术简化在285窟《五百强盗成佛故事画》中的体现,最后总结其达到艺术简化的方法。The mural painting Five Hundred Bandits Turning into Buddha in Cave 285 of Mogao Grottoes condensed the complex Buddhist story into simple visual images by applying classic composition with vivid characters.Based on the visual and artistic simplifications in Gestalt psychology,this essay analyzes the essence of artistic simplification with the story painting of karma as the start,and then it further analyzes the artistic simplification displayed in Five Hundred Bandits Turning into Buddha in Cave 285 from three aspects:the combinations within parts,combinations between parts and structural framework.Finally,it summarizes the approaches to achieve the artistic simplification.
