摘 要:文章浅略叙述第四纪冰期旋回中气候变化的高纬驱动和大气CO2驱动机制,然后尝试追本溯源探讨地球表面能量的再分配过程中能量载体的属性和能量迁移的过程,以窥气候变化中各种因素的重要性。由于水的特殊属性(水汽的温室效应、三相转换的能量迁移、物质特别是盐度输送的载体),以及在低纬海区的强烈活跃性,结合古海洋和古气候记录,显示低纬地区在气候系统中扮演着太阳能量到达地球表面主要“集散地”的角色,低纬过程可能在南北两半球的中-低纬间起到类似气候“跷跷板”支点的作用。This article carries brief notes on high-latitude and atmospheric CO2 forcings and the role of low-latitude processes on climate change during Quaternary glacial cycles.It aims to get clues on significance of various factors that influence Earth's climate by investigating properties of energy carriers and process of energy shifting during redistribution of energy on the Earth surface.Among energy carriers,water stands out by its distinctiveness in potent greenhouse effect of water vapor and carrying materials including salinity,besides shifting energy during transforming among water phases.Low-latitudes provides water a vast stage than higher latitudes involving such like receiving much more solar insolation,more intense sea-air exchange and more robust both oceanic and atmospheric circulation and thus shall have its great significance in Earth climate system,possibly as a main‘distributing center’of solar energy to the Earth surface.By investigating proxy records of past ocean and climate,this article proposes that low-latitude processes may act as the fulcrum to the‘seesaw’-like pattern of climate change between mid-to-low latitudes of two hemispheres.
