CdS-MoS2-WS2 nano-photocatalyst was fabricated by microwave assisted rapid one-step reduction of dithiocarbamate mixture. The visible light decomposition of water to hydrogen of nanocomposites were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflection spectroscopy(UV-Vis).The results show that CdS-MoS2-WS2 composites loaded with MoS2 and WS2 dual catalyst yield the highest hydrogen evolution rate of 5.1 mmol/(h·g)hydrogen production, which is nearly 63 times higher than that of pure CdS,and the hydrogen production activity can last over 60 h.The one-step microwave rapid synthesis method allows the two co-catalysts,MoS2 and WS2,to be tightly combined with CdS,which achieves the rapid separation of electron-hole pairs, thereby greatly improving the hydrogen production performance of the photocatalyst.
