论卢伯克《小说技巧》对白先勇创作的影响

摘　　要：赴美留学是白先勇小说创作的一个分水岭,去国后的小说创作相较早期作品有显著提高。在这一过程中,珀西·卢伯克《小说技巧》的影响是不可忽视的。《小说技巧》对白先勇创作的影响首先是整体性的,它促进了白先勇理论自觉性的形成,其对于形式的强调也让白先勇将创作目光更多聚焦于形式之上;其次这种影响也是具体的,《小说技巧》中提到的绘画法、戏剧法、视点转移等理论都被白先勇吸收并贯通到他的小说创作里,这使得他的创作技巧逐渐纯熟。Studying in the United States is a watenshed in the fiction writing of Pai Hsien-yung which had been signifi-canly improved after going abroad compared with earlier works.In this process,the influence of Perey Labbock's The Crafi of Fiction cannot be ignored.First of all,the influence of The Crafi of Fiction on Pai's writing is holistic,promoting the formation of Pai's theory consciousness,focusing Pai's writing more on the form due to the emphasis on form of The Craft of Fiction;secondly,the influence is also specific.The theories such as painting method,dramatic method,and viewpoint shifting mentioned in The Craft of Fiction were all absorbed and incorporated into his fiction writing by Pai,which made his writing skills more sophisticated.
