本土学校和国际学校网页图片的多模态对比研究

摘　　要：多模态视觉语法理论将语言的社会符号学扩展至视觉角度,包括再现意义、互动意义和构图意义。通过取样国际学校、本土学校各5所,并从每所学校选取4张图片进行定量分析,对比本土学校和国际学校选取网页图片的差异,结果表明,国际学校和本土学校网页图片在多模态在互动意义方面存在显著不同。论文对差异的原因和本土学校的多模态网页设计提出探讨和建议。Visual grammar theory expands the social semiotics of language to visual language,which includes representational mean⁃ing,interactive meaning,and compositional meaning.Based on visual grammar theory,this paper quantitatively analyzes 40 pictures from 10 sample schools and discusses differences in the selection of homepage pictures.Results show that picture selection are significantly dif⁃ferent for international schools and national schools.The paper discusses the underlying reasons,aiming to provide implications for multi-modal construction of national school websites.
