摘　　要：《还乡》中人物不同的命运可以从生态主义三个层面进行解读:人与自然关系的协调、人与人之间关系的协调、人的自我精神生态的协调。是否处理好这三个方面,决定了小说当中人物不同的命运。哈代通过小说的生态思想,传达出唯有热爱自然、与他人关系和谐、具有良好的思想意识,方有幸福的人生。The different destinies of the characters in The Return of the Native can be explained in three ways:the harmony of human beings and the nature,the harmony of humans and the harmony of mentality of humans.Whether they can be dealt with well decides the different destinies of characters in the novel.Through the novel,Hardy presented his idea about ecology that only with love for the nature,harmony with others and sound mentality can people enjoy happy life.
