摘 要:本文拟从生态批评的视角研究生态文学中“季节”的作用和生态价值。通过分析18世纪英国诗人汤姆逊的诗歌《四季》和亨利·戴维·梭罗的传记体生态文学经典《华尔登湖》中的季节框架,发现前者中的“季节”是按照自然季节的时序和实际长度来呈现,而后者中的“季节”则是按照作者主观意图弹性呈现的,以服务于作品的主旨。尽管生态文学家对季节的处理方式有异,但作为组织作品内容的季节框架都具有重要的生态价值。The intention of this paper is to study the role and ecological significance of"the seasons"of eco-literature from ecocritical perspective.After chiefly analyzing of the frameworks of seasons in The Seasons by James Thomson,a British poet of 18th century,and Walden by Henry David Thoreau,an autobiographical eco-classic,the author finds that the seasons of the former unfold according to the natural order and their real length,and that the seasons of the latter are flexibly presented according to writer's subjective desire.In spite of the fact that nature writers may manipulate the seasons in different ways,the seasons as framework to organize the content of eco-writings are ecologically significant to fulfill the purpose of their works.
