摘 要:采用硬脂酸对包覆磷酸钙的氧化铁黄颜料(钙铁黄)表面进行疏水改性.采用红外光谱、XRD等技术对改性前后的钙铁黄进行表征,讨论改性剂用量、改性时间和温度对改性效果的影响.XRD测试结果表明,改性后钙铁黄的晶体结构没有改变.红外光谱分析表明,钙铁黄与硬脂酸之间存在化学吸附.采用活化指数和吸油量评价改性前后钙铁黄的疏水效果,得出最佳的改性条件:硬脂酸用量为钙铁黄质量的5%,改性时间为60 min,改性温度为150℃.此条件下钙铁黄的吸油量为30.06%,活化指数为65%.亲油性实验结果表明,通过硬脂酸改性后,钙铁黄颜料表面由亲水性变为疏水亲油性.Iron oxide yellow pigments coated with calcium phosphate was hydrophobic modified with stearic acid.The structures of coated iron oxide yellow pigment before and after modified were characterized by IR and XRD,and the effects of reaction conditions such as amount of stearic acid,modified time and temperature were also discussed.The results show that the crystal structures of calcium-iron oxide yellow pigments are unchanged.IR analysis show that there is chemical adsorption between the coated iron oxide yellow pigments and stearic acid.The activation index and oil absorption value were used to evaluate the hydrophobic effect of modified pigments.The optimal modification conditions are as follows:reaction temperature is 150℃,processing time is 60 min,stearic acid is 5 wt%,based on the quality of calcium-iron oxide yellow pigment.Under this condition,oil absorption value of modified pigments is 30.06%,activation index is 65%.The results of lipophilic experiment show that the surface of stearic acid modified coated iron oxide yellow pigments changes from hydrophilic to hydrophobic.
