日本近代文献中的海南岛:边缘、前沿、中心

摘　　要：近代日本文献对海南岛的认识大体经历了三个阶段:中日甲午战争至九一八事变,关于海南的文献数量少,认知程度较低,海南岛处于相对"边缘"地位;九一八事变至日本入侵海南岛期间,相关文献逐渐增多,对其重要性的认识相应提高,海南岛渐变为日本南进战略的"前沿";日军占领海南岛后,各种文献大幅增加,海南岛开始成为日本对外扩张的"中心"。海南岛地位的变化,主要归因于日本对外扩张战略的转变。According to the modern Japanese documents,three stages can be identified in terms of the Japanese recognition of Hainan Island.From the First Sino-Japanese War till the September 18 Incident,Hainan Island was relatively considered to be the"periphery"since the scarce documents about Hainan lead to its limited cognition.The gradual increase in related documents,during the period from the September 18 Incident to the Japanese invasion of Hainan Island,promoted the recognition of its significance accordingly,and Hainan Island was turned into the"frontline"in the Japanese strategy of southward invasion.Since the Japanese occupation of Hainan Island,the bulky increase in a variety of documents further transformed Hainan Island into the"center"of the Japanese expansion.The changes in the status of Hainan Island mainly result from the alternation of the Japanese expansion strategy.
