人工圈养条件下河马饲养和繁育管理研究

摘　　要：上海动物园饲养河马已有30多年的历史。以上海动物园饲养的2头河马为研究对象,探讨了河马在人工圈养条件下饲养和繁育的研究;分析了发情交配期雌雄河马的妊娠期间雌河马的身体变化特征,并总结了多年来河马的繁育和育幼工作,上海动物园近3年共繁育了3头河马,成活率达到100%。Hippos have been raised in Shanghai Zoo for more than 30 years.This study focused on two hippos raised in Shanghai Zoo,the study on the feeding and breeding of hippos in captivity was discussed.This paper analyzed the physical characteristics of female hippos during the pregnancy of male and female hippos during estrus mating period,and summarized the breeding and raising of hippos over the years.Shanghai Zoo had breed 3 hippos in the past 3 years,and the survival rate had reached 100%.
