摘  要:静态图像压缩编码技术是当前应用于遥感卫星通信中的热点技术。针对高分七号卫星载荷配置、工作模式、功能要求,文章设计了一种采用JPEG-LS图像压缩算法,基于现场可编程门阵列(FPGA)的多路并行联合工作的图像压缩系统,使得对高输入数据率的宽幅图像可以进行实时无损或近无损压缩。该系统采用一种灵活的图像缓存机制,不需要片外存储器来缓存图像,节约了硬件成本,同时系统资源占用率降低约10%;采用一种先进的码率控制算法,连续调整失真量化参数,多路并行压缩核参数统一更新,使得快速逼近目标码率,恢复图像的峰值信噪比(PSNR)值相比传统算法提升0.5 dB以上。The technology of still image compression and coding is a hot spot in remote sensing satellite communication.This paper introduces an image compression system using JPEG-LS compression algorithm and multi-channel parallel joint operation for the payload configuration,working mode and functional requirements of GF-7 satellite.It enables the system to compress the wide-band image with high input data rate in real-time lossless or near lossless.A flexible image caching mechanism is adopted to save the hardware cost and reduce the system resource consumption by about 10%.Using an advanced rate control algorithm,the distortion quantization parameters are adjusted continuously,and the parameters of multi-channel parallel compression cores are updated uniformly,so that the target rate can be approached quickly,and the PSNR value of recovered image is improved by more than 0.5 dB compared with the traditional algorithm.
