Cervical microecosystem is a complex ecosystem.Age,menstrual cycles, encyesis, external factors, etc.can cause dynamical changes of cervical microecosystem. The balance of cervical microecosystem is of significance to physical health.Cervical microecosystem includes bacteria, local pH,internal secretion and immune system, etc.,among them abundant colonial bacteria is the core of the microecosystem. As infections, local pH changes, estrogen reduction etc.occur, cervical microflora balance may be broken, pathogenic bacteria become the predominant bacteria after excess reproduction, and the risk of human papillomavirus(HPV)infection may increase at the same time, causing cervicitis, cervical squamous metaplasia and cervical carcinoma,etc..Some studies suggest that changes of cervical microecosystem are significantly associated with HPV infection and cervical diseases. However, the studies on direct relation between cervical microecosystem and cervical diseases are scarce. This study discusses the relation between unbalanced cervical microecosystem and common cervical diseases such as cervicitis,CIN and cervical carcinoma it caused.
