摘　　要：《丛林之书》是鲁德亚德·吉卜林的一部代表作,作者通过描写动物的丛林生活,表达了其帝国情怀和大国主义思想。运用概念隐喻,对《丛林之书》里体现出的帝国主义思想、殖民主义、种族主义问题进行深入的研究和探讨,我们发现,吉卜林在其该部作品中借助隐喻写作技巧,通过描写动物的丛林生活,高调地为当时英国的对外扩张思想和野心勃勃的帝国侵略策略正名的不耻行径。The Jungle Book is one of the representative works of Rudyard Kipling,which reflects Kipling’s imperialism and Chauvinism by describing the jungle life of animals.This essay discusses the relationship between law of the Jungle and imperialism,colonialism and racism reflected in The Jungle Book from the perspective of conceptual metaphor.The research holds that Kipling highlights Britain’s aggression and imperialism brazenly through describing the animals’Jungle life.
