地区工资不平等的演化特征:基于中国省际数据的经验研究

摘　　要：本文基于技术进步方向性对地区工资差距的影响路径,运用中国省际数据计算中国各省份的偏向型技术进步,并通过绝对收敛和条件收敛模型对1990-2016年偏向型技术进步及其他影响因素对各省份工资收敛性的关系进行实证评估。研究结果显示:总体上,1990-2016年各省份居民工资不存在绝对收敛;偏向型技术进步对中国各省份居民工资的收敛性均具有显著影响,政府财政收入、对外开放程度、产业结构、人力资本等其他控制因素对工资收敛性也具有重要作用。进一步研究发现,偏向型技术进步使各省份工资差异扩大的阶段恰好是偏向型技术进步使各省份工资快速增长的阶段,而偏向型技术进步使各省份工资差异有所缩小的阶段又恰好是各省份工资增长减速的阶段。因而,本文认为各地区政府应关注偏向型技术进步对地区工资差距、工资增长的长期影响,更加专注于核心技术、自主创新等能力提升。Based on the impact of biased technical change on the regional wage gap,this paper calculates the biased technical change of various provinces in China by using a normalized supply-side system,and evaluates the biased technical change and other influencing factors on the regional wage convergence through the absolute convergence and conditional convergence model from 1990 to 2016.The paper finds that,on the whole,regional wage doesn t have absolute convergence from 1990 to 2016;biased technical change has a significant impact on the regional wage convergence of China;and government fiscal revenue,opening degree,industrial structure,human capital and other control factors also play important roles on the regional wage convergence.Further research finds that the stage that biased technical change increases the regional wage gap is exactly the stage that biased technical change makes the regional wage increase rapidly,and the stage that biased technical change reduces the regional wage gap is exactly the stage that biased technical change makes the slowdown in regional wage increase.Therefore,we believe that governments should pay more attention to the long-term impact of biased technical change on the regional wage gap and wage growth,and further accelerate the abilities of core technologies and independent innovation.
