摘　　要：2020年5月美国密歇根州伊登维尔大坝和桑福德大坝决堤引发洪水,作者简要介绍了此次大坝事故的基本经过,按时间线梳理了事故发生后当地以及州立和联邦两级政府的应对措施。从异常气候、设施本身缺陷及大坝监管3个方面分析了溃坝发生的主要原因。在此基础上,总结了事故教训,提出了进一步完善我国堤坝管理及应急管理的发展建议。The Edenville Dam and Sanford Dam in Michigan of the United States broke causing flood in May 2020.The authors briefly introduced basic process of the dam accidents,sorted out local,state and federal governments'response after the accident according to the timeline,and analyzed main causes of the dam failure from abnormal climate,defects of facilities and dam supervision.On this basis,the lessons from the accidents were summarized,and further improvement suggestions of dam management and emergency management in China were put forward.
