摘　　要：科技图书的出版凝结了作者和编辑的共同劳动心血,作者从学术角度出发,讲明科学道理以及来龙去脉,编辑根据作者提供的稿件内容,根据读者的阅读习惯以及出版行业的各项规定,对作者的稿件内容进行进一步编排和文字加工,并合理安排图标、公式、文字等各项内容。两者的相互理解和密切配合才能成就一本优秀的科学著作。本文仅就作者与编辑之间如何通过分工与合作相互成就,最终出版优秀作品的过程进行探讨。Science publications are the result of the painstaking efforts jointly made by both authors and editors.However,their roles are different.Authors provide the content to be published while editors further treat the content by way of formatting,language editing,re-arranging figures,tables or formulas etc.,where necessary,in compliance with readers’reading habits and in accordance with rules and regulations for publication.Furthermore,it is very important for authors and editors to cooperate closely in this process.This paper discusses the process of publishing excellent works through division and cooperation between the author and the editor.
