In order to explore the optimization mode of arch bridge’s mechanical performance, taking the open-web reinforced concrete slab arch of WanrongNansong River as the engineering background, the parametric model of the bridge was established by using the finite element analysis software Midas Civil, and the mechanical characteristics of the structure in the completed state were studied.Considering the influence of the length of the solid web section on the mechanical performance of arch bridge, five layout forms,i.e.4-arch,6-arch,8-arch,10-arch and 12-arch,were selected. The static performance, dynamic performance and seismic resistance of different layout systems were compared, and a more reasonable layout scheme was found out.The results show that the longer the solid web section, the less the number of web arches and the better the static performance, and the longer the solid web section, the lower the natural frequency. The seismic response effect of the structure is not ideal because the solid web section is too small.Considering the fill weight, economic factors and aesthetic requirements, the abdominal arch scheme is reliable in structure, reasonable in stress, economical and applicable, and beautiful in appearance.
