In order to meet the requirements of modern large-scale,continuous and stable production,of the insulators,it is necessary to optimize the cement adhesive of the porcelain insulator and improve its early strength. Therefore, this paper studies the effects of cement types, silica fume and water-reducing agents on the early compressive and bending strength of the cement adhesive. The research result shows that the development of fast hardening early-strength sulphoaluminate cement is faster than that of early-strength ordinary Portland cement, and the Initial setting time is not enough for modern large-scale production. For the early-strength Portland cement, with the content of silica fume ranging from 0%to 10%and NF naphthalene sulfonic acid water reducing agent increasing from 0.25%to 1.0%,the early strength of the adhesive gradually increases under the condition of ensuring the working performance.Optimization of the adhesive formulas of the cement based on tests verifies the using effects.
