摘　　要：把握棉花经济绩效动力转换特征,对推动中国棉花经济高质量发展具有重要意义。基于中国12个棉花主产省份1985―2017年数据,实证考察生产要素对棉花经济增长的作用,揭示棉花经济增长的动力及其时空特征。结果表明:1985年以来,中国棉花经济增长整体为物质要素驱动,但在不同政策时期、不同棉区存在较大差异;中国棉花经济增长动力经历了从物质要素和全要素生产率双重驱动→全要素生产率驱动→物质要素驱动→全要素生产率和物质要素双重驱动的转换;长江流域棉区棉花经济增长属于物质要素驱动型,黄河流域棉区和西北内陆棉区棉花经济增长属于物质和机械化投入要素双重驱动型。It is of great significance to grasp the characteristics of the dynamic transformation of cotton economic performance for promoting the high-quality development of China’s cotton economy. Based on panel data of 12 major cotton producing provinces in China from 1985 to 2017, this paper empirically investigates the role of production factors in cotton economic growth, and reveals the driving force and temporal and spatial characteristics of China’s cotton economic growth. The results show that: Since 1985, the overall growth of China’s cotton economic has been driven by material factors, but there are great differences in different policy periods and different cotton producing areas;the driving force of China’s cotton economic growth has undergone a transition from the dual driving forces of material factor and total factor productivity to the driving force of total factor productivity to the driving force of material factor and back to the dual driving forces of total factor productivity and material factor;the economic growth of cotton in the Yangtze River Basin is driven by material factors, while the economic growth of cotton in the Yellow River Basin and the Northwest Inland cotton producing area is driven by both material and mechanized input factors.
