论汪曾祺新笔记小说的“通俗性”

摘　　要：汪曾祺作为一个文体家,他的新笔记小说彰显出一种“通俗性”,这种“通俗性”使他的作品在今天依旧保有着相当大的读者群。在他信奉的儒家思想中,这种“通俗性”就有迹可循,继而影响着他小说在创作倾向上的选择:内容上注重描写民俗;语言上追求方言口语化,又不失文学性。与他40年代追求存在主义、意识流等现代主义小说相比,这种倾向上的“下移”,使他将目光转向日常生活,拾起文坛遮蔽已久的风俗人情。As a stylist,Wang Zengqi’s new jottings shows a kind of popularity,which makes his works still have a considerable readership today.In the Confucian thought that he believed in,this kind of popularity has traces to be followed,which in turn affected the choice of his novel-creating orientation with focus on folk customs in terms of content and colloquial dialects in language without losing its literariness.Compared with his modernist novels in pursuit of existentialism and stream of consciousness in 1940s,this tendency to“move down”had led him to turn his attention to everyday life and pick up the customs and humanities long hidden from the literary world.
