摘  要:棉纱上浆对于织造而言非常重要。未上浆的纱线(尤其是单纱)的断头率高,易导致织造无法进行。上浆的作用是增加纱线的可织造性,通过对低缕纱断裂强力(CSP)纱线的加工,可提高其质量,从而使纱线在循环张力作用下满足上机织造。织造时,经纱退绕并穿过织机的各部件,纱线强度会因与多个金属零部件间的持续摩擦而逐渐降低,经纱断裂的概率显著增加。这一问题可通过优化上浆工艺参数解决。为实现令人满意的织造效果,可通过消除倒断头、绞头及并头等措施提高经轴上纱线的质量,使纱线在经轴上自由退绕。The sizing of cotton yarn is absolutely essential for weaving,without sizing it would result in high end breakage rate,particularly in the case of single yarns,which makes weaving impossible.The function of sizing is to increase the weavability of yarn,whereby low CSP yarn can be processed to improve basic qualities to make it weavable to sustain under cyclic tensions.While on a weaving machine,the warp sheet unwinds and passes over the various parts of the loom.The strength of the yarn reduces due to continuous friction between yarn and several metal parts,ultimately warp breaks increase tremendously,and this could be reduced by optimizing the sizing process parameters.Thus,for satisfactory weaving,the quality of the beam could be enhanced by making it free from missing ends,crossed ends,taped ends(sticky ends)etc.,so that it unwinds flawlessly in the loom shed.
