Study on oil and gas resource potential and blocks selection of African countries

摘　　要：非洲地区油气资源潜力大、生产前景好,在全球油气供应格局中具有重要地位,是中国石油公司拓展海外业务的重要方向。其中,北非和几内亚湾沿岸盆地资源规模巨大;东非大陆边缘盆地资源潜力良好;西非西南部,中非、东非板内裂谷盆地和马达加斯加西南大陆边缘盆地亦有一定资源前景。结合全资产生命周期综合评价模型,综合考虑研究对象勘探评价、开发生产各阶段的特点,认为非洲地区可能的资源拓展方向主要有4个:1)以几内亚湾为核心的中西非地区;2)以埃及为核心的北非地区;3)以莫桑比克为核心的东南非地区;4)以南苏丹和乌干达为核心的内陆区域。其中,几内亚湾为非洲最优进入区域,尼日利亚、安哥拉为最优进入国家。Africa has huge oil and gas resource potential with good prospects for oil and gas production and plays an important role in nowadays global energy system leading to a trend of business expansion from Chinese oil companies.Based on the study of the geology and resource sage of oil and gas basins in 36 countries in Africa,the paper believes that the coastal basins of North Africa and the Gulf of Guinea have the largest resource scale,the continental edge basins in East Africa have good resource potential,and the rift basins in West Africa,Central Africa,East Africa and the southwestern continental margin basins of Madagascar have some resource prospects.Based on oil and gas asset life cycle evaluation model and features in the different stages of researching oil and gas assets,it concludes that possible patterns of resource expansion in the African region mainly include the Gulf of Guinea,Egypt,Mozambique,and countries with South Sudan and Uganda as the core.The Gulf of Guinea region is the optimal entry region in Africa,Nigeria and Angola are the most attractive countries among them.
