Objective:To investigate the correlation of Hcy level with cardiovascular events in patients with hypertension.Methods:500 patients were divided into the observation group(242 cases,Hcy≥10μmol/L)and the control group(258 cases,Hcy﹤10μmol/L).BMI,SBP,DBP were measured.GLU,TC,TG,LDL-C and Hcy were determined for all patients. The occurrence of cardiovascular events was recorded during 1 year follow-up.The risk factors of cardiovascular events were alalysed. Results:There was no significant difference in the weist,BMI,SBP,DBP,GLU,TC,TG,LDL-C(P>0.05)and significant difference in Hcy between two groups. The occurrence rate of cardiovascular events had significant difference between two groups(P﹤0.001).The serum Hcy level was one of the risk factors of cardiovascular events[OR=2.217,95%CI(1.205-3.745),P=0.007].Conclusion:The plasma Hcy level was one of the risk factors of cardiovascular events in patients with hypertension.
