摘  要:彝族文化古老而绚丽多彩,留存着多种多样的图腾,其中虎图腾是彝族图腾研究的中心与论争的焦点。相关争论既来自概念的多义、材料的丰富,也来自学术的目标和时代的局限。由于概念的多义性、资料搜集的不完整性、学术目标的意向性,支持者把虎图腾构建为彝族的原生图腾和文化符号,忽视了彝族图腾的多样性与复杂性;反对者搜集整理材料多为反驳虎图腾,而非专门研究其他图腾。学术构想与生活真实的离合是彝族图腾之争的本质,两者离则俱伤,合则均益。因此,既加强虎图腾研究,也关注和研究其他图腾,是拓展深化彝族图腾研究的可行路径。The culture of Yi nationality is ancient and colorful,retaining various totems.Among them,tiger totem is the center and the controversy focus of the totem study of Yi nationality.The relevant debates are not only from the polysemy of concepts and the richness of materials,but also from the academic goals and the limitation of the times.Due to the polysemous concept,incomplete data collection and intentionality of academic goals,proponents have constructed tiger totem as the primary totem and cultural symbol of Yi nationality,ignoring the diversity and complexity of Yi’s totem.Most of the materials collected by opponents are to refute tiger totem,rather than to specialize in other totems.The separation and integration of academic conception and life reality is the essence of the struggle for totem of Yi nationality.Their separation will hurt both and their integration will benefit both.Therefore,it is a feasible way to expand and deepen the study of Yi’s totem by strengthening the study of tiger totem as well as paying attention to and studying other totems.
