摘 要:二十多年来,有关塔里木在Rodinia超大陆中的位置问题一直存在争论。一种观点认为塔里木在新元古代期间处于Rodinia的边缘,与澳大利亚西北部相连,与其对立的观点则认为塔里木曾处于Rodinia的中心,连接了澳大利亚与劳伦大陆。持第一种观点的学者们强调塔里木北缘与澳大利亚西北部Kimberley地区新元古代地层序列的相似性,主张塔里木在Rodinia中靠近Kimberley地区。现有的部分古地磁数据能够支持塔西南—Kimberley在760~615 Ma期间连接的模型。持第二种观点的学者强调塔里木及其邻近地块新元古代地质记录与澳大利亚东部及扬子克拉通地质记录的相似性。最近,基于在乔恩布拉克组以及塞拉加兹塔格群中取得的高质量的古地磁数据,以及塔里木与澳大利亚-东南极、劳伦之间相似的地幔柱活动记录、裂谷-冰川-被动大陆边缘沉积,有学者提出塔里木及其周缘地体在900~720 Ma期间可能位于澳大利亚-东南极与劳伦中间。本文针对上述两种主要的塔里木新元古代古地理重建模型进行评述,并认为塔西南—Kimberley连接模式与塔里木“Missing-link”模式仍然需要详细的构造地层对比、古地磁学与同位素年代学研究的进一步检验。The position of the Tarim Craton in the Rodinia supercontinent remains a debating issue.One opinion suggests that the Tarim Craton was located at the northwestern Australian margin of Rodinia during the Neoproterozoic-Early Cambrian.The opposite opinion suggests that the Tarim Craton was located at the center of Rodinia,connecting eastern Australia and western Laurentia.Researchers who hold the first viewpoint emphasized the tectonostratigraphic similarities between the northern margin of Tarim and the Kimberley area in northwestern Australia,and argued that Tarim was closed to Kimberley in Rodinia.Some paleomagnetic data can support SW Tarim-Kimberley model between 760 and 615 Ma.Researchers with the second viewpoint emphasized the similar Neoproterozoic geological records among Tarim,as well as its adjacent blocks and eastern Australia and Yangtze Craton.Recently,some researchers suggested that Tarim and its adjacent blocks were located between Australia-East Antarctic and Laurent during 900~720 Ma based on the high-quality paleomagnetic data from Qiaoenbrak Formation and Sailajiazitage Group,and the similar records of mantle plume activities,rift-glacial-passive margin deposits among Tarim,Australia-East Antarctica and Laurentia.This article reviews the two main proposals of Neoproterozoic paleogeographic reconstruction of Tarim mentioned above,and suggests both the SW Tarim-Kimberley model and the Tarim’s“Missing-link”model need further detailed tectonostratigraphic comparisons,paleomagnetic and geochronologic studies.
