摘　　要：在1969年9月2日,美国的第一台自动柜员机(ATM)首次公开亮相,为纽约罗克维尔中心的化学银行的顾客提供取款服务。到了20世纪80年代,这些货币机器已经被广泛应用,并具备了许多先前由出纳人员执行的职能,如支票存款和账户之间的资金转移。今天,自动柜员机就像手机和电子邮件一样,对于大多数人来说是非常重要的。On September 2,1969,America's first automatic1 teller machine(ATM)opened for business,dispensing cash to customers at Chemical Bank in Rockville Center,New York.By the 1980s,these money machines had become widely popular and handled many of the functions previously2 performed by human tellers,such as check deposits3 and money transfers4 between accounts.Today,ATMs are as important to most people as cell phones and e-mail.
