摘　　要：With the support by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,the research team led by Prof.Dong SuoMeng(董莎萌)at the College of Plant Protection,Nanjing Agricultural University,revealed how light,the dominant physical factor,impacts the function of potato broad-spectrum disease resistance gene Rpi-vnt1.1 that confers resistance against the infamous Irish famine pathogen.
