摘　　要：As representatives of the lost generation,Fitzgerald and Hemingway are two writers who couldn’t be ignored when it comes to the American literature in the 20th century.Both made significant achievements in literary creation and posted huge influ⁃ence on many later generations.Although they lived under the same historical background,their creating styles were different.Their works reflected befuddlement and hesitation of that age.We classified both of them to the same school of literature-the Lost Generation in the history of literature.This article will analyze the difference of creating styles of Fitzgerald and Hemingway so as to better understand their works based on the introduction of the relevant background.
