摘 要:英语系词be过度生成句是二语学习中出现的一种典型现象。学界对其进行了持续研究,提出了三种理论假设(be标记时态/一致性假设、非宾格动词过度被动化假设、be过度生成假设),但并未达成一致观点。本文采用构式语法框架,基于较大规模语料,对该结构的主语与谓语动词分别开展共现词分析。结果显示:1)be过度生成句应当被界定为一种错误构式,该构式源自对静态谓语结构的过度概括;2)该构式整体上表征低动态性的存在/完成状态;3)前人提出的三种假设均从不同侧面反映了该构式的整体属性。Be-overgeneration,a typical phenomenon in second language learning,has received persistent attention with three types of theoretical assumptions proposed,i.e.,be as a filler of tense/agreement,the overgeneration of unaccusative verbs,and be-overgeneration hypotheses.Though much research has been carried out to unravel the underlying mechanisms,little agreement has been reached.This study,adopting a usage-based constructionist approach,retrieved a rather large amount of beovergeneration sentences from corpus and carried out collexeme analyses of the subject and predicate in be-overgeneration sentences.The findings demonstrate that 1)be-overgeneration sentences should be designated as a kind of constructional error which results from an overgeneralization of static predicates;2)the construction entails existential/completed state of low dynamicity;3)previous studies revealed some aspect(s)of their global constructional attribute.
