摘　　要：自2013年习近平主席提出“一带一路”倡议以来,倡议中涉及的国家日益增多、合作范围日益增广。合作往来中语言与交流是关键,为了顺应时代要求,英语专业所培养的人才既要有专业基础,又要有跨文化交际能力。“英美文学”课程是语言、文化的良好载体,文学作品蕴含优美的语言与丰富的文化知识。结合时代背景开展三本院校“英美文学”的教学,能让学生提升各项能力,促进自身的全面发展,成为“一带一路”建设的生力军。After Chairman Xi put forward the initiative of"the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road"in 2013,both the involving countries and the cooperating scope are increasing.Language and communication are the keys in cooperation.In line with the requirement of the times,qualified English majors should have not only professional foundation,but also intercultural communication competence.The course of British and American Literature is a good carrier of language and culture,since literary works contain beautiful language and rich culture.By launching the teaching of"British and American Literature"in independent colleges combining the social background,the students'abilities can be promoted,and their all-round development can be boosted,thus becoming the fresh troops of"the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road".
