银杏古名称考释

摘　　要：银杏为中国特有孓遗植物,在中国栽培历史悠久,因而也有着众多的名称。人们对其宋代以后的名称较为熟悉,而对宋代以前的名称及由来未作解释。通过对历史文献记载的分析,对银杏宋代以前的名称及由来进行考释,认为银杏即为平仲、文杏。Ginkgo biloba L.,a plant endemic to China,is a relic plant of Cretaceous.It has a large number of names,since it was cultivated long time ago.People are familiar with names of Ginkgo biloba L.after Song Dynasty.However,meanings of those names before Song Dynasty are not explained.Based on the analysis of historical documents,and combined with the archaeological discovery and folk legend,names of Ginkgo biloba L.are explained.
