摘　　要：从语用学视角,基于会话含义理论对该小说中人物会话分析研究,旨在通过对小说中四个主要人物在会话过程中对合作原则的违背,探讨话语的间接性,从而解读其人物形象、性格特征,探究《飘》在现下的中国仍拥有广泛读者的深层原因.Gone With the Wind is a great book written by Margaret Mitchell. Being a masterpiece in the world, it has been abstracting the attention of the literary researchers. This paper is to analyze and study the conversations from the perspective of pragmatics and based on the Theory of Conversational Implicature. It aims at discussing the directness of the conversations to interpret the four characters and their personalities and explore the underlying cause that Gone With the Wind still has a large number of readers in present China by analyzing the violations of the Cooperative Principle by the four main persons in conversations.
